Tips for setting up your ceiling fan for winters

Wondering how can ceiling fans be of any use during winters? Most people do not use the ceiling fan at all during winters and install heaters to keep their room warm. Think smart and use the ceiling fan instead of the heaters to save installation expenses and also on electricity.

During the winter season the warm air tends to rise and settle near the ceilings of your rooms. Now just use your new type of fans which have the reverse turning mechanism too. Reverse the fan direction, i.e. make it clockwise with the speed being low. This will push the heated air accumulated at the ceiling to flow down from the sides of the room, and once it reaches below, it will rise up again. This cycle will continue with the reversed fan, keeping your room warm enough to stay in. This method saves a lot of your money.

Bedroom is that area of the house where we tend to live the most. Since it is the private part of the house where no guests are generally allowed in, we tend to overlook settling the rooms. As a result your bedroom faces the space crunch the most. Moreover the apartments these days are quite small and have a lack of space.

So what can you do to save the space in your bedroom? The best way is to get those futon furniture which can be disassembled quite easily. You could also save space with the help of that two-in one furniture. A sofa cum bed takes up a lot less space than the sofa and bed. Other additions to the room, like the hanger hooks on the wall do a great deal to save up space. Wall cupboards could be used as storage for clothes. You could also cover up a clothes storage bin and use it up as a lamp.
