Solar power is a fantastic heating option for the green homes since its dependent on the sunlight, a viable, renewable and abundant natural resource. Thus, solar power is useful to save a lot of energy creating an eco-friendly environment. Besides, it’s cost effective.

Solar panels would be fixed on shade less and south facing roofs at an angle somewhere between twenty and fifty degrees. Then you have solar based air collectors which will directly heat up the individual rooms.

Water heating by the solar energy is either active or passive. The active mechanism employs controller or pumps to pull the sun warmed water from the tanks equipped with the solar panels and then take it to the heat exchanger. The exchanger removes the heat and circulates the water throughout your home. The passive mechanism utilizes natural convection for moving the water from the heat source taking it to heat exchange.
